The Crossing of America is a national campaign to pay tribute, create awareness and raise funds for wounded warriors and fallen heroes and their families. The Crossing of America began on May 27, 2011 just prior to Memorial Day weekend, aboard the deck of the USS Midway in San Diego Harbor, and will conclude on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011, aboard the deck of the USS Intrepid in New York Harbor.
